Your favourite summer 5k is back! Same great venue, just a new name. We are excited to be hosting the Summer Night 5k again this year with Delilah's. (Formerly Barking Frog) Come run our 5k , or 2k for beginners and kids and enjoy friends on the patio with our hosts. Always a summer favourite! Enjoy a beer(for those of age) and burger post race, courtesy of our hosts Delilah's.
All Pledges from this event will be going to Bereaved Families SWO.
Bereaved Families of Ontario Southwest Region (BFO-SW) is a non-profit, mutual aid organization that originally started in 1984 to help support families who experienced the death of a child.
Today, we continue to offer free support and programs for those who have experienced the death of a child, along with support for individuals who have experienced other death-related losses as well.
We provide a safe place where members can talk about their loss, share their story, and express their grief. Through the self-help process, participants know they are not alone, and may feel hopeful as they see how others have coped and learn about grief as a normal response to loss.

Course
The 5k is a scenic out-and-back along the newly paved Thames River Path System starting and finishing at the Delilah's.

The 2k is an out and back following the first kilometer of the 5k course. Note that much of the first km is downhill, making the second half of the 2k a challenging, uphill kilometer.
Kiddy Trot This event is about 150 meters in length and is ideal for any child from 1 up to age 12. Parents are allowed to run along side any registered child.

Awards will be available at SoleScience until August 19th, after which, all unclaimed prizes will be recycled. Don't just win a prize, stay for the awards ceremony and claim it.

Facilities: Washrooms will be available at Delilah's. NO SHOWERS will be available.

From the 401, take Wellington Rd north (approximately 10km) Turn left on Queens Ave, two blocks west to Richmond St. Right on Richmond st, north 1K to John St.
Parking lots close by.
